· SGC meetings will occur on the 4th Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted on the meeting calendar.
3:40PM Discussion Item: Strategic Planning
· Currently 44% of scholars in grades 3-5 are reading at or above grade level. The state goal is to increase by 3%. Conley’s goal is to increase scholars grades 3-5 reading at or above grade level to 47% as measured by GA Milestones.
3:50PM Informational Item: Principal’s Update (Dr. Bates)
A. Potential School Staffing Changes
• Conley Hills did not lose any staff due to enrollment following the 10-day count.
B. Shifts in District Policy or School Practices
• Dr. Bates informs the council of FCS updates to cell phone and bullying policies in code of conduct.
• Conley Hills has become a uniform school, encouraging uniforms Mon-Thurs.
C. Calendar of Upcoming School Events
• Annual Title 1 Meeting 9/12
• Grandparents’ Day Celebration 9/13
• September and October events will be posted on Class Dojo by Dr. Bates
