Welcome to our School Counselor's Corner
Our Briar Hills school counseling program is an integral part of our students' school experience. You can learn more about the services available to assist our Briar Hills students with their personal and academic needs.
Mission Statement
The mission of our school counseling department is to build a comprehensive developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students.
Programs developed by our counseling department are driven by the unique ethnic, cultural, and economic diversity of our entire student population with the end goal of removing barriers to student learning and encouraging achievement at the highest levels for each student.
Through a partnership with students, educators, parents, and community, our school counseling department will prepare our students academically and socially to be productive members and leaders of society.
Mental Health Resources
The following facilities provide 24-hour assistance and have shared with the District that they will complete emergency assessments at no cost. If your child already receives support from a mental health provider, you may wish to contact that professional first. Please note that the District does not endorse any provider, makes no representations as to the effectiveness of these providers, and makes this information available only as a helpful resource.
